The BNVD 31 Night Vision Goggle is a compact, lightweight dual-tube night vision system engineered for professional performance in demanding environments. Designed with direct input from U.S. operators, the BNVD-31 (also known as the PS-31) delivers excellent resolution, rugged reliability, and improved helmet-mounted balance by reducing front-end weight and enhancing center of gravity.
Equipped with NNVT Gen2+ Autogated White Phosphor tubes, the BNVD 31 provides excellent image clarity, reduced eye fatigue, and improved target identification in low-light conditions. The autogating function protects the tubes in dynamic lighting and automatically adapts to sudden brightness changes.
This goggle features independent articulating optical pods that allow the user to run it in either binocular or monocular configuration. Each pod can be rotated out of the line of sight, preserving unaided vision when needed and reducing eye strain during prolonged use. When stowed, the pods fold flat against the helmet for a low-profile carry position, improving comfort and reducing the chance of snags or impacts. The auto shut-off function disables power when the unit is flipped up.
The BNVD 31 uses PVS-14 compatible optics and includes a built-in IR illuminator, IPD stops, and both CR123 battery and external battery pack compatibility. It ships mission-ready with mount, battery pack, and deployment accessories.
