The Infiray Jerry FB is a next-generation fusion night vision binocular that combines analog night vision and thermal imaging into one fully integrated helmet-mounted system. Unlike traditional setups that require users to run separate thermal and night vision devices, or rely on clip-on thermal units, the Jerry FB delivers real-time thermal overlay directly through its onboard display for unmatched detection and situational awareness. This system is designed for professional end users who require advanced navigation, target identification, and 24-hour operational capability in all environments.
The integrated thermal overlay is processed internally at the eyepiece, preventing washout from ambient light unlike COTI-style thermal clip-ons. With its 19mm thermal lens and 640×512 12μm thermal sensor, the Jerry FB detects man-sized targets out to 1.5 km and vehicles out to 3 km. Thermal modes include white hot and orange hot in outline or highlight configurations. Users can also disable fusion and run pure analog night vision as needed. The fusion alignment can be adjusted through the onboard menu system to match user preference and accuracy requirements.
The Jerry FB brings advanced digital awareness features typically found only in high-end military systems. Its built-in digital compass, inclinometer, GPS, and navigation HUD allow users to mark reference points and navigate terrain without additional equipment. A wireless Bluetooth controller is included to operate the device hands-free during mission-critical tasks. Power is supplied by an external dual 18650 battery pack for extended runtime—up to 60 hours with night vision only or 8 hours in fusion mode.
This system uses NNVT NVT4 1400 FOM white phosphor 10160-style auto-gain image intensifiers and includes manual gain control. Each optical pod independently shuts off when rotated out of view, and onboard IR illumination provides support in low-light conditions. Built for rugged field use, it mounts via standard dovetail helmet interfaces and maintains consistent performance in harsh environments.
