The Katana features independent articulating pods that power off when rotated, allowing the user to run one or both tubes as needed. Its low-profile stow position reduces neck fatigue and interference when entering or exiting vehicles or working in confined spaces. The original Friction Lock IPD adjustment system allows precise interpupillary distance adjustment without tools and holds position firmly in demanding environments. With a single onboard CR123A battery powering the system for 24+ hours and an external power port for battery packs, the Katana provides operational runtime flexibility and mission endurance.
