Built from high-strength hybrid fiber reinforced injection molded polymer, the UANVB Katana is the lightest articulating goggle housing available today. Fully assembled with lightweight optics, complete systems can weigh under 15 ounces. The articulating design enables independent pod shutoff, allowing the user to run one tube or both while maintaining full situational awareness or pairing with thermal and IR aiming solutions.
The Katana features Nocturn’s friction-lock tool-less IPD adjustment system, ensuring each pod locks firmly into place without the need for external tools. Its low-profile folded position improves mobility in and out of vehicles and reduces neck strain during long-duration helmet use. The housing is rugged and field-proven, exceeding MIL-STD-810G and surviving NATO/TOP-standard drop tests—six feet onto concrete in multiple orientations.
This listing is for the UANVB Katana LEMO Housing Kit only. Optics and intensifier tubes are not included but may be added separately. The LEMO power port version allows the Katana to run on external battery packs in addition to the onboard battery.
