The Nocturn Industries UANVM Tanto is an ultralight, modular night vision monocular designed for durability, adaptability, and mission flexibility. Built from high-strength polymer and engineered for real-world field use, the Tanto is the cornerstone of Nocturn’s adaptable series—designed to operate as a standalone monocular or convert into a full articulating binocular system when paired with the Daisho Bridge (sold separately).

The Tanto mounts using any standard PVS-14 J-Arm interface and features a minimalist design with a low-profile push-button power switch integrated into the battery cap. This keeps the system streamlined, snag-free, and ideal for helmet-mounted deployments.

Where the Tanto truly stands out is its modular bridge capability. With minimal tools and no permanent modification, two Tantos can be paired together using the Nocturn Daisho Bridge (Tanto Articulating Bridge) to form a rugged dual-tube NVG system. The bridge enables single-battery power for both pods and introduces articulation for stowing, pod shutoff, and thermal/laser integration. Users can quickly transition from binocular to monocular configurations in the field.

The housing is rugged and mission-capable—drop tested to NATO 1.5m standards onto concrete and built to exceed MIL-STD-810G environmental durability. Fully sealed construction meets IP68-equivalent protection against dust and water ingress.
