RVM-14 Night Vision Monocular

The RVM-14 Night Vision Monocular is a rugged, duty-ready alternative to the traditional PVS-14, engineered for superior durability and performance in demanding environments. Built from billet machined 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum, the RVM-14 provides exceptional structural strength while maintaining a lightweight footprint. This housing is designed to accept standard mil-spec PVS-14 optics or ultralight RPO lenses, giving users the ability to tailor their setup for weight savings or optical configuration.

Unlike polymer-based monocular housings that are prone to cracking under impact, the RVM-14 was purpose-built for field use where reliability matters. It integrates a rotary power and gain adjustment knob, giving users precise control over image brightness, and features a built-in infrared illuminator activated by a forward button protected by a raised fence to prevent accidental IR signature.

For mounting versatility, the housing includes a ¼–20 threaded accessory port on the side for PVS-14 compatible mounts and accessories, as well as a top-mounted mini dovetail that interfaces directly with the RVM-14 Arm or RVM-14 Bridge. This allows seamless transitions between single monocular use and dual-tube binocular configurations—all with full articulation for clean stow against a helmet.

Despite its bombproof metal construction, the RVM-14 remains lightweight at just 300 grams with standard optics and a CR123 battery—15% lighter than a single AA PVS-14 while offering 50% longer battery life and far greater housing strength.
