The Aeon ANVG Manual Gain Articulating Night Vision Binocular is a rugged, battle-ready dual-tube night vision system engineered for professional performance and serious night operations. Built around an articulating design with manual gain control, the ANVG allows the user to adjust image brightness manually—critical for changing light environments and preserving detail under dynamic conditions. This system is more versatile than fixed-gain binoculars and is a strong alternative to legacy housings like the RNVG and DTNVS.
The ANVG features independent articulating pods, allowing each tube to be rotated out of the line of sight. When stowed outward, each pod automatically powers down to prevent tube damage and eliminate unwanted glow splash on helmets. Its auto-stow shutoff also powers the system down automatically when flipped up on a helmet mount and powers it back on when lowered, with user-selectable override.
Built around a skeletonized aluminum housing, the ANVG maintains durability without unnecessary weight. Power is supplied by an onboard CR123 battery or external power via Fischer-style connector. The rotary selector knob controls both power and manual gain, while the built-in dual-focus IR illuminator offers both Flood and Spot modes for short- and mid-range use. Notification LEDs inside the optic provide IR-on and low-battery indicators.
The Aeon ANVG is available with a wide range of intensifier tube options from industry-leading manufacturers, and tube sets are selectable by the customer with real spec sheets provided.
